    We were brought on by Chivas to activate their new 3-year partnership with one of the world’s biggest football clubs, Manchester United and create a PR campaign which showcases their shared belief: Blended is better; in life, football and Scotch.

    The launch announcement in August was followed by the release of a Limited Edition 50 Year Old whisky to celebrate 50 years since Manchester United first won the European Cup. Four bottles of the blended scotch were produced to represent each of the four goals scored by Manchester United, against Benfica in the European final in ’68. The team hosted 20 international media at an exclusive event in Manchester, where they were able to blend their own whisky, take part in a Q&A with Manchester United legend Denis Law and taste the exclusive 50 year old liquid, before heading off to watch Manchester United vs. Juventus in the Champions League group stages.

    One bottle of the Limited Edition 50 Year Old Whisky was sold at world-renowned Sotheby’s for £21k – all proceeds were donated to the Manchester United Foundation.
