• Rockstar ‘Press Play’ on Pre-Party

  • Pangolin launched the new Rockstar Energy Drink brand campaign in the UK, ‘Press Play’, by hosting the most exclusive pre-party of the year in Manchester.

    Celebrating the pivotal, make-or-break moment between work and play, the intimate gig featured performances from MistaJam and his chart-topping guests, Raye, Tom Grennan and Ella Eyre. 

    Bringing the hottest tunes, Pangolin helped Rockstar Energy take the nightlife and party standards Mancunians’ are known for to a whole new level. Lucky party-goers gained access to the event after securing free tickets via the talent and Rockstar’s Instagram.

    To drive awareness of pre-party, encourage ticket sign ups and amplify the new brand campaign, Pangolin created a three-phased media and influencer strategy. 

    This included an artist line-up announcement, artist interviews and creating event wrap content  – that in national, regional broadcast and consumer media in titles such as; Manchester Evening News, Mail Online, POPSUGAR & That’s TV Manchester

    Building the hype across socials, an influencer strategy helped to promote the event before, during and afterwards, which amassed over 170 paid and organic social posts.

    The media and influencer strategy helped to switch Rockstar Energy’s positioning and turn up the energy to Press Play.
