Chivas celebrates Women’s History Month with ‘She Rises’
We helped Chivas and Regal FC mark Women’s History Month this year with ‘She Rises’ – a two-day event in Manchester which celebrates the remixed iteration of the blended Scotch whisky’s ongoing ‘I Rise, We Rise’ platform, dedicated to uplifting women who are forging new paths to success in their respective industries.
The weekend kicked off with a coaching session hosted by Manchester United FC Women’s coaches, which saw female coaches from local grassroots teams take part in a training session to learn the art of creating a winning mindset. All participants walked away with a certificate to mark their professional training.
The following day, we headed to Old Trafford to host media at a panel discussion fronted by women’s football content creator and presenter, Felicia Pennant, who sat down with TRUK founder Lucy Clark, Goal Diggers Podcast host Moyo Abinoa and This Fan Girl’s Partnerships Manager Dannielle Harper to explore how women and non-binary people of all backgrounds can be represented within the football space.
The weekend was wrapped up with an epic match between Manchester United Women West Ham United FC Women which saw the Red Devils win 4 – 0, followed by a talk by Manchester United Women players Maria Thorisdóttir and Lisa Naalsund, and Manchester United’s Head of Women’s Football, Polly Bancroft.
We secured coverage on football culture and lifestyle platform, VERSUS which encapsulated the entire weekend of activity and Chivas’ continued dedication to furthering the women’s sport.
