7UP launches zesty new brand identity
Crisp, clean and refreshing, 7UP is the lemon and lime soda we all know and love. But even a household favourite sometimes needs a bit of a refresh. So, we worked with 7UP to help launch its zesty new look and international brand platform across both 7UP and 7UP Zero Sugar to global media.
The change, which marks 7UP’s first major overhaul in over seven years, continues to feature the brand’s iconic punchy green, but this time, with added zesty citrus hues and distinct high-contrast lines that gives a vibrant new look and feel. This complements the launch of a new comedy platform (to be announced in the coming months – watch this space!) which will perfectly embody what 7UP is all about – providing moments of joy!
As part of our approach, we went out with the news pre-launch with targeted pitches to key marketing, trade, design and business titles for coverage to ensure it landed on launch day with a bang.
This resulted in some fantastic coverage: 87 pieces of earned global coverage with a total reach of 64M+. Coverage went live in key titles, including: Design Week, Creative Review, It’s Nice That, Fast Company, Marketing Week and AdWeek.
We also secured three interviews with Senior PepsiCo Executives to talk more in-depth about news in The Drum, Marketing Beat and Marketing Week.
