In November 2021 we supported Chivas on the launch of Regal FC – a global concept club for contemporary football culture, devoted to celebrating the eternal influence of the game across the globe.
Regal FC was created to transcend physical borders and unite the changemakers who are ripping up the rule book and redefining what the game means to them. With the football community ever-changing and evolving, Regal FC champions the diverse blend of talent that is shaping the future of fan culture.
Regal FC launched with the ultimate 5-a-side charity tournament, ‘The Regal FC Rooftop 5s’, which brought together some of the UK’s freshest talent, including Headie One, Avelino, Elz the Witch and Joelah Noble, who played alongside four of the world’s most forward-thinking community clubs: Nivelcrack, Alive and Kicking FC, Under the Radar and Grenfell Athletic FC.
As a second spike following the launch, Chivas partnered with leading British streetwear designer Marc Jacques Burton to create three exclusive, limited edition football jerseys. The jerseys were unveiled at the tournament where they were worn by three of the competing teams, before becoming available to purchase in aid of the charity, Alive and Kicking.
We supported the launch by getting key culture, lifestyle and fashion media talking about Regal FC, securing coverage in titles such as; Highsnobiety, HYPEBEAST and Proper. Additionally, we utilised interview time with talent from the tournament to secure standout pieces with Clash Magazine, POPSUGAR and VERSUS.
We also gifted influential media with Regal FC jerseys and bottles of Chivas XV, getting product in the hands of key contacts and supporting coverage features, in addition to gaining organic social coverage from journalists at Basement Approved and GQ.
