Pepsi MAX UCL Drive-In
In August 2020, with football fans missing out on the beautiful game, Pepsi MAX brought the ultimate fan viewing experience to the UEFA Champions League Final through a series of sell out drive-in events across England.
The Pangolin team were on hand to help bring a stadium-like experience to each event. This included having football pundits such as Karen Carney and Gary Cahill taking part in a pre-match Q&A, match day programmes that offered consumers an insight into what’s in store at the event, and exclusive Pepsi MAX Match Day Snack Bundles to enjoy throughout the game.
As a team, we helped to drive event sales and spark conversation amongst football fans through traditional media outreach and influencer engagement, showcasing Pepsi MAX as a proud sponsor of the UEFA Champions League. Coverage landed in top-tier publications including: JOE.co.uk, Campaign, Just-Drinks and Evening Standard.
The Pangolin team also worked with much-loved football influencer and personality, Michael Timbs, to host at the Alexandra Palace event. Timbsy was able to keep momentum and spirits high throughout the full 90-minutes – even without the goals coming in thick and fast!
We hope it won’t be too long before fans are able to enjoy the atmosphere inside stadiums once again, but if not, at least we know drive-in events are a winner!
