    As part of their ongoing commitment to bring music and entertainment to football fans across the globe, Pepsi tapped rising pop super-star Dua Lipa to perform at the Opening Ceremony for the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final.

    As the global PR agency, our role was to lead the talent announcement and highlight the partnership through global media outreach and exclusive interviews. The Pangolin team also worked alongside the Pepsi global events team to coordinate and manage a full media day with Dua Lipa in Kiev ahead of her performance, which included: 5 global broadcast outlets, 6 print and online titles, 6 influencers, 1 FaceTime interview and 2 UEFA social videos.

    The performance was a smash! The resulting media coverage elevated Pepsi’s sponsorship of the UCL, and helped to cement the brand’s music credentials in the hearts and minds of fans all over the world.
