Mello Takes the Pepsi Stage!
Now in its fifth year, the UEFA Champions League Final Opening Ceremony presented by Pepsi saw award-winning music producer and DJ, Marshmello bring his epic setlist of mixed-genre hits to a global audience of football fans.
To kick off one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year, the team announced Marshmello as the headlining act accompanied by guest artists Selena Gomez and Khalid to deliver a one-of-a-kind virtual six-minute spectacle. The performance used the latest immersive technology – a first for both Pepsi and UEFA – to bring to life the stadium in Porto.
The team scheduled and hosted over 16 virtual interviews across broadcast and editorial with a variety of global music, sport and lifestyle media. The performance was widely received by football and music fans across the globe with stand out pieces in Forbes, LadBible, Billboard and GQ.
