The Brief

Ahead of the summer we were challenged by Frank’s RedHot to bring to life the brand fiery motto and inspire the UK to ‘Kick It Up a Notch.’ 

The ask was simple – get Frank’s on everyone’s lips and embed the brand in British culture.

The Insight

We knew there was going to be one thing on everyone’s lips in the summer of 2024…football. 

And with the Euros fast approaching, we also knew one thing was going to be in everyone’s hand – beer! Whether it’s an ice cold swig on a hot day, or thrown over your mate when a wonder goal hits the back of the net.

The Creative

It was time to stir up a conversation.  We took the classic British pint and kicked it up a notch with Frank’s RedHot, creating a new viral summer sensation – the ‘Flager’.

A daring mix of lager, Frank’s RedHot Sauce, ice, and a squeeze of lime.

We partnered with actor and football hard man Danny Dyer to star in a witty 90-second video, of him mixing up a Flager, blending cockney humour with Frank’s fiery flavour to captivate audiences. The video debuted on Frank’s UK and Danny Dyer’s Instagram, and quickly ignited a hot conversation.

The Results

The campaign quickly caught the attention of national media including Mail Online and the Daily Star, as well as broadcaster TalkTV, who featured the perfect pour on their breakfast show.

Our Flager campaign well and truly kicked it up a notch, driving brand awareness amongst British consumers and creating a RedHot viral moment on socials. Cheers to the Flager!
